1. Description of Service

HanyuHub provides an interactive companion platform for Mandarin Chinese language learners, including reading passages, vocabulary decks, stroke order animations, synthetic neural audio, and study tracking tools.

2. Free Trial & Subscriptions

A. 14-Day Free Trial

HanyuHub offers a 14-day free trial for new users. No credit card is required to begin the trial unless explicitly prompted during account setup.

B. Billing & Auto-Renewal

• Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis via Stripe.
• By subscribing, you authorize HanyuHub to charge your payment method on file at the beginning of each billing cycle until canceled.

C. Cancellation Policy

• Cancel Anytime: You may cancel your subscription at any time via Account Settings > Subscription Plan.
• Access Upon Cancellation: If you cancel your subscription or trial, you will continue to have full access to HanyuHub through the end of your current paid billing period or active trial.
• No Refund Policy: We do not offer partial refunds or prorated credits for unused time within an active billing period.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties ("AS IS")

• No Guarantees of Accuracy: While we strive for accuracy, HanyuHub makes no warranties or guarantees (express or implied) regarding the completeness, accuracy, pedagogical effectiveness, or error-free nature of any Mandarin text, translation, or voice audio on the platform.
• No Fluency Guarantees: We do not guarantee specific educational outcomes, exam pass rates (such as HSK certification), or fluency milestones as a result of using the platform.

4. User Accounts & Conduct

A. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your authentication credentials. HanyuHub cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized access to your account.

B. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract raw database content, audio files, or application code without explicit permission.
• Misuse tutor/student interaction features or broadcast inappropriate or offensive messages to other users.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of HanyuHub servers or networks.

C. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive, fraudulent, or illegal behavior.

5. Intellectual Property

All software, design elements, custom vector artwork, logo assets, and curated lesson structures on HanyuHub are owned by or licensed to HanyuHub.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the platform for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall HanyuHub, its creators, or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from:

• Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the service.
• Any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in any educational content or audio tracks.
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed the total amount paid by you to HanyuHub in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
