Practice contextual Mandarin sentence patterns with continuous native audio and instant character lookups.

Overview

Sentence Lists curate real-world example sentences and sentence patterns grouped by practical themes (such as Coffee Shop Basics, Ordering at a Restaurant, or Asking for Directions). Unlike word decks, sentence lists focus on natural grammar flow, rhythm, and contextual listening.

Supported Features

1. Character Interaction

Desktop: Click on any Chinese character in a sentence to open the Character Action Panel.
Mobile: Click on any Chinese character in a sentence to show the inline tooltip. Tap EXPLORE to expand the full Character Action Panel.

2. Study Tracking

Tap Begin () to track focused study and practice time toward your weekly goals. See Study Session Tracking.

3. Audio Playback

Full Stream: Push the Listen () button on the toolbar to listen to sentences one by one.
Individual Replay: Click the inline play icon () on the right of any numbered row to listen to an individual sentence.
